Doe care is $0.65 a day.
The does are kept in their own special pen, away from the bucks and the rest of the herd, with access to a shelter and a run. Diseased, sickly, or otherwise unhealthy does will be turned away. All breedings come with a kid guarantee. If the doe does not settle, the doe is entitled to a free breeding.

There is a 10% discount for 4-H/FFA members and multiple does.

Buck Leasing

All herds wanting to use Buck Lease will need to be CAE, CL, and scrapie free. While the buck is on the leasee's property, all medical problems that the buck acquires will be the leasee's repsonsbility. The charge of the lease will depend on how many does the buck breeds. I do not offer any guarantees that the does will become bred.

Custom Caprine AI Services

$.13 a mile, $20 for a single doe,
$12 each for 2-3 does, $7 each for 4 or more does

I offer a traveling AI service for all breeds and types (Boer, Fiber, and Dairy) of goats. Typically, I use two straws of semen with 8-12 hours between each straw. Having me come to the does is less stressful (better conception rates) than bringing the does to me. I have had three years of AI experience with dairy goats. A 50-75% conception rate could be expected.

Example of the cost of AI:
100 miles, 3 does, $15 a straw semen
100 miles x 2 = 200 x $.13 = $26
3 does x 12 = $36
6 straws x $15 = $90
Total Cost = $152

240 miles, 30 does, $8 a straw semen
240 x 2 = 480 x $.13 = $62.40
30 does x $7 = $210
60 straws x $8 = $480
Total Cost = $752.40
Price Per Doe = $25.08
